Job Description
We are seeking a confident, emotionally intelligent, and conversion-focused Surgical Counselor to guide patients through their surgical decision-making journey.
The ideal candidate should deeply understand patient psychology, emotional triggers, pain areas, and aesthetic concerns while ethically influencing patients to pursue recommended treatments and procedures.
For patients who require deeper understanding or are hesitant to visit the clinic physically, the Surgical Counselor will conduct detailed virtual/telephonic consultations under a Junior Doctor–style consultative approach to build trust, confidence, and treatment intent.
This role requires a strong balance of empathy, persuasion, patient education, and healthcare domain acumen to improve consultation-to-surgery conversions while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Counseling & Conversion
- Counsel patients for aesthetic and cosmetic surgical procedures through detailed, trust-building conversations
- Understand patient psychology, emotional motivations, insecurities, expectations, and pain points
- Identify patient concerns and position suitable treatment solutions with confidence and empathy
- Influence and guide patients toward informed treatment decisions and procedure commitment
- Build urgency and confidence by explaining procedure benefits, outcomes, recovery timelines, and transformation possibilities
Virtual / Telephonic Consultation
- Conduct detailed telephonic and virtual consultations for patients hesitant to visit the clinic
- Understand patient concerns in depth and provide personalized treatment guidance over calls
- Build stronger trust, engagement, and emotional connection with prospective patients
- Increase patient confidence and improve consultation-to-clinic visit conversion ratios
- Present the clinic and treatment ecosystem professionally to enhance brand credibility
Consultation Coordination
- Coordinate consultations between doctors and prospective patients
- Ensure smooth patient movement from inquiry → consultation → surgery booking
- Maintain continuous follow-up with warm and cold leads to maximize conversion rates
- Handle objections related to pricing, fear, recovery, family concerns, and treatment hesitation
Patient Relationship Management
- Deliver a premium patient experience through personalized engagement
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and emotional sensitivity during counseling
- Build long-term patient trust and retention
CRM & Reporting
- Update CRM with lead status, counseling notes, follow-ups, and surgery conversion details
- Track consultation conversions, surgery closures, and revenue targets
- Submit daily and weekly performance reports
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- BAMS Preferred
- BHMS Preferred
- Candidates from Cosmetic / Aesthetic / Healthcare Backgrounds preferred
Experience
- Experience in cosmetic, aesthetic, wellness, or clinical practice preferred
- Prior experience in patient counseling, teleconsultation, or high-ticket healthcare conversion is an advantage
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of patient psychology and emotional behavior
- Ability to conduct effective virtual and telephonic consultations
- Excellent persuasion and objection-handling skills
- High emotional intelligence and communication ability
- Sales and conversion-oriented mindset
- Strong follow-up discipline and CRM management
- Strong interest in the cosmetic and aesthetic industry

Compensation & Incentives
- Salary: Based on experience and conversion capability
