Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant (B.Sc. Physician Assistant) or equivalent.
Experience
- 0–1 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Freshers with clinical training in Urology may also apply.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Obtain detailed patient history and perform preliminary clinical assessments.
- Assist consultants during OPD consultations and ward rounds.
- Monitor and evaluate inpatients under the supervision of the consultant.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assist in the management of urological emergencies.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Assist consultants during urological procedures and surgeries.
- Assist in catheterization, catheter care, and removal.
- Assist with cystoscopy, uroflowmetry, prostate biopsy, and other urological procedures as directed.
- Maintain procedure records and ensure availability of required instruments and consumables.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Prepare discharge summaries and follow-up instructions.
- Coordinate investigations, referrals, and appointments.
- Ensure timely updating of electronic medical records (EMR/HIS).
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for patient care.
- Assist in departmental audits, quality initiatives, and NABH compliance activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, CMEs, and training programs.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
