The Senior Nurse (OHC) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the Occupational Health Clinic. This role involves assessing patients' health needs, implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees. The Senior Nurse will also supervise junior nursing staff, manage patient records, and assist in the development of health promotion programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations for employees.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans based on individual patient needs.
- Educate employees on health and safety practices, illness prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address occupational health concerns.
- Manage and supervise junior nursing staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinic protocols.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.
- Stay updated on current occupational health trends, regulations, and best practices.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
