The Procurement & Finance Manager oversees sourcing and purchasing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings (FF&E) for design projects, while also managing the company's financial operations including budgeting, cost control, invoicing, and reporting. This role bridges vendor relationships and financial discipline to ensure projects are delivered on budget and the business remains financially healthy.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
· Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for furniture, fabrics, lighting, fittings, hardware, and construction materials.
· Evaluate supplier quality, reliability, and pricing; maintain a vetted vendor database.
· Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies in quality or quantity.
· Coordinate with design and project teams to align procurement timelines with project schedules.
· Manage import/export logistics and customs documentation where applicable.
Finance
· Prepare and manage project-wise and company-wide budgets.
· Track project costs against budgets and flag variances early.
· Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing.
· Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and cost analyses for management.
· Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for tax filings, compliance, and audits.
· Monitor profit margins on projects and recommend cost-saving measures.
· Maintain accurate records of purchase costs, markups, and billing to clients.
Cross-functional
· Liaise between design, site execution, and finance teams to ensure smooth project flow.
· Support leadership with financial planning for new projects, including cost estimation and feasibility.
· Implement and maintain procurement and accounting software/systems (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP tools).
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
· 4–8 years of experience in procurement, finance, or operations, ideally within interior design, architecture, construction, or real estate.
· Strong understanding of FF&E procurement and vendor ecosystems is a plus.
Skills
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Proficiency in accountingZOHO software and MS Excel.
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail in budgeting and cost tracking.
· Good communication skills to coordinate across design, execution, and finance teams.
· Ability to multitask across several ongoing projects.
· Negotiate contracts and payment terms to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Pay: ₹18,657.51 - ₹60,608.83 per month
