Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment at our manufacturing facility in Dhampur, Bijnor. The candidate should ensure smooth plant operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, and switchgear.
- Maintain plant electrical wiring, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of production machinery.
Installation & Commissioning
- Install new electrical systems, machines, and equipment.
- Assist in commissioning of production lines and utility equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety procedures and statutory regulations.
- Ensure proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices during maintenance activities.
- Report electrical hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with factory and safety standards.
Monitoring & Documentation
- Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare part usage.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and checklists.
- Monitor electrical parameters and equipment performance.
Utilities Maintenance
- Support maintenance of DG sets, compressors, pumps, and utility systems.
- Monitor power consumption and assist in energy-saving initiatives.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical maintenance in manufacturing plants.
- Hands-on experience with motors, panels, VFDs, PLC wiring, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance records.
Qualification
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within FMCG, Food Processing, Sugar, Manufacturing, or Industrial Plants.
