We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Team Lead to manage and guide a team of insurance professionals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the insurance sector, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive team performance while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve business and operational targets.
- Monitor daily team performance and ensure productivity goals are met.
- Assign tasks, review work, and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and quality standards.
- Handle escalations and resolve customer or operational issues effectively.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in team management and people leadership.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- 3–6 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 1–2 years in a team handling or supervisory role.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is mandatory.
- Experience in General Insurance, Motor Insurance, Health Insurance, or related insurance domains is preferred.
