About Pacific Pearl Holidays
Pacific Pearl Holidays is a Destination Management Company (DMC) specialising in Australia and New Zealand, providing travel services to travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients and groups.
We are looking for a responsible and organised Accounts Executive for our Delhi office to manage routine day-to-day accounting and administrative finance work.
This is a junior accounting position suitable for someone with basic accounting knowledge who is comfortable working with invoices, payments, vouchers, reconciliations and Excel.
Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Accounting
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment and receipt entries.
- Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers.
- Enter supplier invoices and other expenses into the accounting system.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Keep accounting records organised and up to date.
Bank & Payment Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Match payments received and payments made against invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements with internal records.
- Identify missing payments, duplicate entries or differences in accounts.
- Follow up internally regarding outstanding or unmatched transactions.
Supplier Payments
- Maintain records of payments due to hotels, transport companies, attractions and other suppliers.
- Prepare supplier payment lists for approval.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before payments are processed.
- Record payments once completed.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier advances and outstanding balances.
- Assist in tracking supplier payment due dates.
Invoicing & Receivables
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients/travel agents as instructed.
- Maintain records of invoices raised and payments received.
- Track outstanding client payments.
- Assist the management/accounts team with outstanding payment reports.
- Record receipts against the correct invoices.
- Maintain proper documentation for credit notes, adjustments and refunds.
Vouchering & Documentation
- Prepare payment, receipt, journal and expense vouchers.
- Check that invoices and vouchers have the required supporting documentation.
- Maintain digital and physical records of invoices, receipts and payment confirmations.
- Organise supplier invoices and supporting documents booking-wise/month-wise.
- Assist with documentation required by the company's accountant or management.
Excel & Reporting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting information in Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare basic payment, outstanding and reconciliation reports.
- Maintain supplier and client account statements.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly accounts summaries.
- Ensure accounting data is accurate and properly maintained.
Candidate Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in accounts, bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Fresh graduates with good accounting knowledge may also apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Comfortable with invoices, payments, receipts, vouchers and reconciliations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important.
- Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.
- Basic written and spoken English.
- Should be comfortable communicating with internal teams regarding invoices and payments.
- Should be based in Delhi/NCR and able to work from our Delhi office.
Educational Qualification
Candidates with any of the following backgrounds may apply:
- B.Com
- BBA with Finance/Accounts
- M.Com
- Other graduate qualification with accounting knowledge
- Candidates currently pursuing graduation with suitable accounting knowledge may also be considered.
Formal CA/CMA qualifications are not required for this position.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate, responsible and comfortable working with numbers.
This is not a senior finance or accounting position. The role is focused on day-to-day accounting work such as reconciliation, vouchering, invoices, supplier payments, receipts, outstanding tracking and maintaining accounting records.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their accounting career who wants to gain practical experience in the travel and tourism industry.
