Role Objective
We are looking for a data-driven SEO Executive to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks (Google, Bing) and AI Answer Engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical & On-Page Optimization
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits (Site speed, Core Web Vitals, Mobile-friendliness).
- Optimize website architecture, landing pages, and copy for search engines and AI crawlers.
- Implement and manage Schema Markup (JSON-LD) to ensure rich snippets and AI visibility.
2. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Optimize content to be featured in AI Overviews (SGE) and generative AI responses.
- Focus on "Brand Authority" by ensuring the brand is mentioned in high-authority topical clusters.
3. Content Strategy & Keyword Research
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery including long-tail "conversational" queries used in voice and AI search.
- Work with the content team to ensure "People-First" content that meets Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines.
4. Off-Page & Authority Building
- Execute white-hat link-earning strategies (Digital PR, Guest Posting, Resource Page link building).
- Monitor brand mentions and manage the brand’s digital footprint across the web.
5. Data & Analytics
- Track and report on SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Ahrefs/Semrush.
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify gaps in the market.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Tools: Mastery of Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- AI Proficiency: Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Jasper) to assist in keyword grouping and content outlining without sacrificing quality.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they affect SEO.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights for clients.
- Communication: Strong Hinglish/English communication skills to explain SEO progress to clients.
