VuNet is a pioneer in Business Journey Observability, leveraging Big Data and Machine Learning to transform digital experiences across the financial services. Our deep-tech platform provides end-to-end visibility into customer journeys — empowering proactive issue resolution, operational resilience, and superior user satisfaction.
If you’ve ever used instant payment systems like UPI, chances are you’ve already experienced the power of our platform — we monitor over 28 billion digital transactions monthly (that’s equal to watching 3 years of tik-tok videos), touching 300 million users with leading banks and financial institutions.
VuNet is Series B funded, part of NASSCOM DeepTech Club, awarded NASSCOM’s AI Gamechanger, recognized in Forbes DGEMS 200 and by several global analysts including Gartner, Omdia.
We’re building a new category of observability purpose-built for complex digital journeys — across payments, lending, core banking and more — already powering some of the largest banks in India and MEA.
At VuNet, we're building a next-generation Business Observability platform that combines full-stack engineering, big data, and machine learning to monitor customer journeys and improve digital experience. Our systems help the largest financial institutions improve their digital payment experience and drive financial inclusion across the country.
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and run the infrastructure our platform depends on — both our own cloud environments and the deployments that ship into some of India's biggest banks. This is a hands-on role centered on Kubernetes and CI/CD, with cloud automation and reliability engineering close behind. You'll work across engineering, Quality, and SRE to make delivery faster, safer, and more resilient.
Because we serve BFSI customers, our workloads span our own cloud (SaaS) and customer-managed on-prem and private-cloud clusters. You'll be comfortable operating in both models.

- Kubernetes platform: Design, deploy, and operate production Kubernetes clusters — across cloud-managed (EKS/GKE/AKS) and on-prem environments. Own upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting, tuning for performance, availability, and security.
- CI/CD pipelines: Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton, or Spinnaker. Automate build, test, and deployment for microservices and infrastructure.
- Cloud & infrastructure automation: Provision and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi. Automate configuration and scaling across our cloud footprint.
- Observability & incident response: Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting for high visibility into system health. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and capacity planning.
- Security & compliance: Implement security best practices — RBAC, secrets management, image scanning, and vulnerability remediation — in line with the compliance expectations of financial-sector customers.
- Enablement & continuous improvement: Partner with development and SRE teams to remove bottlenecks, improve developer experience, and share DevOps best practices across the organization.
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure automation.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes architecture and production operations (on-prem or managed services like EKS/GKE/AKS).
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) — compute, networking, IAM, storage, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Solid grasp of container technologies: Docker, container security, and image optimization.
- Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Fluentd, or similar).
- Working understanding of GitOps and modern SDLC principles.
- Experience operating across more than one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Kubernetes certification (CKA / CKAD / CKS).
- Experience with service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), ingress controllers, and API gateways.
- Background in platform engineering or internal developer platforms.
- Experience with zero-downtime deployments — blue/green or canary strategies.
- Familiarity with security standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks.
