Job Title: Medical Typist
Location: Kazhipattur, OMR - UNITTAS Mulltispeciality Hospitals
Employment Type: Full-time
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Type and prepare medical reports, case summaries, discharge summaries, and prescriptions.
- Accurately transcribe dictated medical notes into hospital records.
- Maintain patient records in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and medical terms.
- Handle sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for documentation needs.
- Assist in digitalizing medical records and data entry.
Requirements:
- Proven typing skills with speed and accuracy (minimum 40–50 wpm).
- Prior experience as a Medical Typist or similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office or hospital management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
