Job Summary
Clover Greens Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Engineer with strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) expertise to oversee engineering operations, preventive maintenance, utilities management, and infrastructure reliability for our resort/hospitality properties. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hotel or resort engineering operations, team management, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Maintenance
- Manage day-to-day engineering operations of the resort/hotel property.
- Oversee maintenance of all MEP systems including HVAC, DG sets, electrical systems, plumbing, STP/WTP, fire safety systems, pumps, and utility equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, recreational facilities, and back-of-house infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
MEP Operations
- Supervise installation, troubleshooting, and repair of MEP equipment and systems.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, transformers, chillers, lighting systems, and water supply systems.
- Coordinate AMC activities with external vendors and contractors.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise engineering staff, technicians, and contractors.
- Allocate duties, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and engineering best practices.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, fire safety norms, electrical safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Maintain engineering documentation, logbooks, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare engineering budgets and control maintenance expenses.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and engineering tools.
- Optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Guest & Facility Support
- Ensure prompt resolution of maintenance complaints and guest-related engineering issues.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, F&B, and operations teams for smooth facility management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering operations within resorts, hotels, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and facility management.
- Experience handling HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire & safety systems, DG operations, STP/WTP, and utility management.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and reporting systems is preferred.
