The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating, capturing, and publishing engaging content that showcases student achievements, classroom activities, faculty expertise, events, competitions, and campus life across social media platforms. The role focuses on content creation, community engagement, and brand building.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create Instagram posts, reels, stories, and YouTube Shorts.
- Design basic graphics using Canva.
- Capture photos and videos of classes, workshops, events, and student activities.
- Create trend-based content relevant to animation, VFX, gaming, design, and AI.
Student Showcase Management
- Collect student artworks and projects weekly.
- Coordinate with faculties to identify outstanding student work.
- Prepare “Artwork of the Month”, “Creative Champ”, and competition-related content.
- Create student success and placement stories.
Social Media Publishing
- Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.
- Maintain consistency across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Ensure all posts follow Arena KKG branding guidelines.
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments and messages.
- Engage with students, alumni, and prospects on social media.
- Monitor trending topics and opportunities for engagement.
Event Coverage
- Cover workshops, seminars, competitions, industry visits, and campus events.
- Create real-time stories and reels during events.
- Prepare post-event highlight videos and photo albums.
Content Coordination
- Work with faculties to gather project updates.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team for campaign creatives.
- Maintain a content repository of photos, videos, and student projects.
Skills Required
- Instagram & Facebook knowledge
- Basic Canva skills
- Basic CapCut/Premiere Pro editing
- Photography & videography using a smartphone
- Good written English
- Creative mindset and trend awareness
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
