Our DesignX way is unique in helping young designers develop a better understanding of the context we live in through community immersion, innovation and collaboration. The core of our pedagogy is sustainable design multiplied by a host of knowledge disciplines and technology to make problem solving impactful. Our multidisciplinary undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in design, architecture, climate action and visual arts harness the knowledge from various disciplines and traditional practices to integrate it with cutting edge technology to address diverse challenges.
The HR office creates, encourages, and maintains an environment that supports, develops and sustains the well-being of the University’s employees, and the larger community of its stakeholders. The major functions of the Office of HR include, but are not limited to the following:
- Set up recruitment, selection, and employment policies and procedures.
- Develop and coordinate staff professional training, development, and education.
- Assist in managing and implementing the performance appraisal system.
- Provide safe and effective working conditions, thus enhancing staff welfare by providing assistance and encouraging a positive relationship between staff and the University.
- Manage and maintain employees’ records and files, and provide statistical information and reports to the appropriate parties.
- Develop, implement, and update personnel policies and procedures.
