SMT Material Handler
Job Role:
Responsible for handling, storing, and supplying materials to production lines to ensure smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations while maintaining material traceability and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, issue, and return production materials as per work orders.
- Load and unload materials to and from SMT, assembly, testing, and routing stations.
- Verify material part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and expiry dates.
- Maintain FIFO control and material traceability records.
- Prepare material kits for production according to BOM and schedule.
- Handle PCBs, components, and assemblies using proper ESD precautions.
- Record material movements, shortages, and discrepancies in inventory logs or ERP systems.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Segregate and label non-conforming, rejected, or excess materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage and staging areas.
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing materials. (PCBs, components, consumables)
- Ability to read part labels, BOMs, and work orders.
- Familiarity with inventory handling practices and FIFO concepts.
- Basic computer skills for material tracking systems or manual logs.
- Awareness of ESD, safety, and cleanroom practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
