Role Overview
Able Ventures is looking for a skilled and creative Graphic Designer who can translate ideas, concepts, and content into visually compelling designs.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in graphic design, PowerPoint presentation design, and digital content creation. The role requires someone who combines creativity with attention to detail and can manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and brand consistency.
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the content, learning design, marketing, and consulting teams to create engaging visual assets for client projects, e-learning programmes, presentations, digital campaigns, and internal communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design and Visual Communication
- Design high-quality visual assets, including brochures, banners, posters, infographics, social media creatives, website graphics, marketing collaterals, and digital communication materials.
- Convert complex information, concepts, and written content into clear and engaging visual formats.
- Create original illustrations, icons, diagrams, and other customised visual elements.
- Develop designs for both digital and print applications.
PowerPoint Presentation Design
- Design professional and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for client proposals, leadership programmes, e-learning content, workshops, internal meetings, and marketing initiatives.
- Transform content-heavy presentations into clear, structured, and visually appealing slides.
- Create customised templates, layouts, infographics, icons, diagrams, animations, and transitions.
- Ensure presentations are easy to understand, visually consistent, and aligned with the intended audience and purpose.
E-Learning and Digital Learning Design
- Create visual assets, backgrounds, characters, interfaces, and templates for e-learning modules.
- Work with instructional designers and content developers to convert learning concepts into engaging visual experiences.
- Support the development of interactive learning content using tools such as Articulate 360 and Vyond.
- Adapt designs for different screen sizes, formats, and digital learning platforms.
Brand Consistency and Quality
- Ensure that all designs follow Able Ventures’ and clients’ brand guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colours, layouts, visual styles, and overall design language.
- Review and proof designs for accuracy, alignment, readability, and visual quality before final delivery.
- Maintain organised design files, templates, source files, and asset libraries.
Collaboration and Project Management
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, consulting, instructional design, and project management teams.
- Understand project requirements, clarify design briefs, and recommend appropriate visual solutions.
- Incorporate feedback constructively and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate proactively regarding project progress, challenges, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum four years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communication, presentation design, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including custom layouts, animations, transitions, diagrams, and presentation templates.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy, composition, spacing, and layout principles.
- Ability to interpret written content and translate it into engaging visual communication.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within tight timelines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, presentation design, and digital content creation capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using e-learning authoring and animation tools such as Articulate 360 and Vyond.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for customising e-learning templates or web-based content.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and interactive digital design.
- Experience designing content for learning and development, consulting, education, or corporate training organisations.
- Experience creating infographics, process diagrams, learning journeys, assessment reports, and data visualisations.
- Basic video editing and motion graphics capabilities.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to evaluate designs from the end-user’s perspective.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve visual quality, usability, and learner engagement.
