Role Overview
The House Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and smooth operation of the household. This includes overseeing domestic staff, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and ensuring a high standard of service and organization within the home.
Key Responsibilities
1. Household Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the residence ensuring efficiency and high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all areas.
- Ensure all household systems (utilities, appliances, security) are fully operational.
2. Staff Supervision
- Recruit, train, and supervise domestic staff (housekeepers, chefs, drivers, security, etc.).
- Schedule staff duties and monitor performance.
- Ensure proper conduct, discipline, and adherence to household policies.
3. Vendor & Service Coordination
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Schedule repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
4. Budget & Inventory Management
- Prepare and manage household budgets and expenses.
- Track expenditures and maintain financial records.
- Manage procurement of supplies, groceries, and household items.
5. Event & Guest Management
- Plan and coordinate household events, dinners, and gatherings.
- Oversee guest hospitality, ensuring comfort and premium service.
- Manage reservations, logistics, and event staff as required.
6. Security & Safety
- Ensure safety protocols and security systems are in place.
- Coordinate with security personnel and emergency services if needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
7. Personal Assistance (Optional based on role scope)
- Assist homeowners with scheduling, travel arrangements, and errands.
- Coordinate appointments and personal commitments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in household management, hospitality, or estate management.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
