A Freight Broker is responsible for arranging the transportation of goods between shippers and carriers. This role involves negotiating rates, securing reliable carriers, managing shipments, and ensuring timely delivery while maximizing profit margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Source freight from shippers and customers
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and clients
- Negotiate rates and secure profitable margins
- Match loads with suitable carriers
- Dispatch carriers and provide load instructions
- Track shipments from pickup to delivery
- Resolve issues such as delays, damages, or disputes
- Maintain accurate records of loads, rates, and invoices
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Handle billing, invoicing, and collections
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
