Job Summary
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves market research, customer visits, product presentations, quotation follow-ups, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely order execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, institutional buyers, and corporate clients.
- Conduct regular customer meetings to understand requirements and promote company products.
- Expand the customer base in assigned territories.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed business.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams for quick resolution.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Research
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand.
- Identify new product opportunities and emerging markets.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Dispatch, Stores, and Accounts for smooth order execution.
- Track order status and ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow up on payments and outstanding receivables.
Reporting
- Prepare daily sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates.
- Maintain customer data and sales records in CRM or ERP systems.
- Submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales in a Manufacturing company.
- Experience in Home Appliances, Kitchen Appliances, Industrial Products, OEM Sales, or B2B Sales is preferred.

Salary Range
- ₹3.0 LPA – ₹5.0 LPA (depending on experience)
