Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Java to build scalable, high-performance systems for real-time data processing in mining (resource & minerals) operations. The role involves handling streaming data from IoT sensors, machinery, and operational systems to enable analytics, monitoring, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop backend services using Node.js and Java for real-time data ingestion and processing
· Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for streaming data (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
· Integrate IoT devices and sensor data from mining equipment
· Optimize system performance for high-throughput and low-latency processing
· Collaborate with data engineers and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
· Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and data integrity
· Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms
· Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
Required Skills
· Strong experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS)
· Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred)
· Experience with real-time streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Spark, Flink, etc.)
· Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
· Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
· Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
· Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Good to Have
· Experience in mining, industrial IoT, or similar domains
· Knowledge of time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)
· Experience with data analytics pipelines
· Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
· Ability to work in fast-paced, data-driven environments
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
