We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Lead Consultant with expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, ABAP, and Analytics to lead enterprise data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional experience in SAP BW development, support, enhancements, and performance optimization while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
This role involves leading SAP BW enhancements, release management, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP BW landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP BW/BW/4HANA development, enhancement, and support activities.
- Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW/4HANA data models and reporting solutions.
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs within SAP BW environments.
- Perform SAP HANA data modelling and optimize system performance.
- Support enterprise analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and/or SAP Datasphere.
- Manage incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
- Perform impact assessments and recommend scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and BW modernization initiatives.
- Ensure solution quality through documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BI/BW/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA development and administration.
- Excellent ABAP development skills within SAP BW environments.
- Experience with SAP HANA modelling and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and/or SAP Datasphere.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience leading SAP BW projects, enhancements, and production support.
- Knowledge of incident, change, problem, and release management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vistex solutions and related business processes.
- Knowledge of integrating Vistex data into SAP BW/BW/4HANA reporting.
- Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects (BO) reporting tools.
- Experience supporting SAP BW modernization and migration projects.
