Al Salama School of Safety Studies is looking for an Freshers or experienced and responsible Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure-related activities across all our branches.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently, safely, on time, and according to the required quality standards. The role involves regular travel between branches and close coordination with management, contractors, workers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance activities across all branches.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor ongoing construction and infrastructure work.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, workers, and suppliers.
- Ensure construction work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular updates to management.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required at construction sites.
- Check the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues, delays, and operational problems.
- Ensure proper execution of civil, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, carpentry, and other related works.
- Obtain quotations from contractors and vendors and coordinate with management for approvals.
- Monitor project costs and help ensure work is completed within the approved budget.
- Maintain proper records of construction activities, expenses, materials, and project progress.
- Ensure that all construction activities follow applicable safety procedures and standards.
- Coordinate emergency repair and maintenance requirements at branches when necessary.
- Inspect completed work and ensure necessary corrections are carried out before final approval.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously across different branches.
- Travel to different branches as required for site supervision and inspection.
- Perform any other construction or infrastructure-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience in construction supervision, site supervision, or a similar role.
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site management.
- Experience in handling contractors, workers, and vendors.
- Good understanding of civil, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance works.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and plans.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel between branches.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned projects.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/Excel is an added advantage.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
