We’re hiring fullstack engineers (SDE-2 through Staff) to own this surface end-to-end: from rich, reactive frontends to backend services and workflows that power them.
What changes across levels is scope, ambiguity, and influence — but at every level, you’ll write code, ship product, and operate across the frontend-backend boundary.
Design and build intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that handle complex workflows — task tracking, state transitions, approvals, and user actions.
Senior and Staff engineers define reusable patterns and UI primitives for teams.
Own features across the stack:
- Build React frontends
- Design and implement APIs
- Ensure seamless integration between UI and backend systems
SDE-2s execute with guidance, Seniors own end-to-end design, Staff engineers define system-wide patterns.
Build and evolve backend services that support:
- Long-running workflows
- State management and persistence
- Error handling and fallback strategies
- Scalable API design
Implement real-time patterns using WebSockets, SSE, or async workflows:
- Live updates
- Progress tracking
- Partial results and responsiveness
Make tradeoffs around latency, consistency, and user experience.
Build systems that allow users to:
- Review and approve actions
- Override system decisions
- Intervene in workflows when needed
Senior+ engineers help define how control, automation, and usability are balanced.
Optimize across the stack:
- UI performance and rendering
- Backend query efficiency
- Caching and throughput
- System reliability and observability
Senior and Staff engineers define SLOs and performance standards.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews
- Mentor junior engineers (Senior+)
- Establish engineering standards (Staff)
Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and platform teams to:
- Define shared patterns and abstractions
- Resolve architectural ambiguity
- Align engineering decisions with product goals
Staff engineers drive org-wide technical direction.
The SDE-2 level typically requires 3–5 years of full-stack experience, with strong skills in React and TypeScript on the frontend and experience with API design and basic database concepts on the backend. Candidates should have exposure to complex workflows, be familiar with asynchronous and real-time patterns, understand user flows, and execute well-scoped work effectively. Communication should be clear and structured.
The Senior level generally requires 5–8 years of full-stack experience, along with deep React expertise and strong backend systems knowledge, including queues, caching, and authentication. Candidates are expected to have built production-grade systems and demonstrate strong architectural judgment, particularly around real-time systems. They should be capable of designing for edge cases, evaluating tradeoffs, making independent technical decisions, and clearly communicating those tradeoffs across teams.
The Staff level typically requires 9+ years of full-stack experience and expert-level frontend architecture skills. Candidates should have deep expertise in distributed systems and infrastructure design, with experience designing large-scale systems and defining real-time infrastructure patterns. They are expected to shape both product and technology direction, provide organization-level technical leadership, and effectively bridge business, product, and engineering teams.
- Experience with real-time UI updates and streaming data
- Familiarity with system evaluation and testing frameworks
- Experience in high-stakes domains (fintech, logistics, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source or internal tooling
- Experience scaling systems from early stage to maturity (Staff)
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
