Industry Preference: IoT, Telematics, Logistics Tech, Fleet Management About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales for our IoT product suite within the Logistics sector. The role requires strong domain knowledge, solution-selling skills, and the ability to engage deeply with logistics operators to offer end-to-end fleet management solutions—not just hardware or track-and-trace software. You will be responsible for selling IoT devices including GPS trackers, RFID readers, UHF readers, door sensors, and telematics accessories, along with our advanced tracking platform and API integrations customized to each client’s operational workflow.
Your key objective is to drive high-volume, customized software deals that ensure long-term customer stickiness.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and onboard medium to large logistics operators, transporters, 3PLs, express cargo companies, and fleet owners.
- Sell IoT hardware (GPS devices, RFID/UHF readers, door sensors, CAN solutions) bundled with our fleet tracking and monitoring platform.
- Promote customized fleet management software tailored to customer workflows, focusing on long-term value and higher-volume deals.
- Conduct deep requirement analysis to understand client fleet operations, compliance needs, and integration gaps.
2. Solution Selling & Consultative Approach
- Position the company as a complete fleet management partner, not just a device provider.
- Demonstrate platform capabilities—live tracking, driver behavior, geofencing, trip analytics, cold chain sensors, vehicle security, asset monitoring, immobilization, etc.
- Work with internal tech teams to propose custom dashboards, reports, and API workflows for integrations with ERPs, TMS, WMS, or customer CRMs.
- Support pilot deployments, demos, POCs, and ensure smooth onboarding.
3. Revenue & Account Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets for hardware + software subscriptions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools.
- Upsell new features, integrations, and additional fleet services to existing customers.
- Ensure customer retention through periodic reviews, performance reports, and solution enhancements.
4. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor pricing, features, hardware specs, and integrations.
- Provide actionable market insights to product and engineering teams.
- Identify new opportunities in logistics sub-verticals such as FTL, PTL, e-commerce logistics, line haul, and last-mile delivery.
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IoT Sales / Telematics / Logistics Technology / Fleet Management.
- Strong understanding of GPS tracking devices, RFID/UHF readers, sensors, and telematics hardware.
- Experience in selling SaaS, tracking platforms, or integrated IoT solutions.
- Strong network within transporters, logistics operators, and fleet owners.
- Ability to manage full-cycle B2B sales: prospecting → demo → proposal → closure → account relationship.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations across regions.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
