Key Responsibilities:
1. Hostel Administration
Oversee daily hostel operations and ensure smooth functioning
Allocate rooms to labours/employees and maintain occupancy records
Maintain hostel registers (attendance, visitors, in/out records)
2. Discipline & Monitoring
Enforce hostel rules and regulations strictly
Monitor residents’ behavior and maintain discipline
Handle complaints, conflicts, and grievances of residents
3. Safety & Security
Ensure safety and security of all residents
Monitor entry/exit of visitors and staff
Coordinate with security personnel
4. Maintenance & Cleanliness
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in rooms and common areas
Report and follow up on maintenance issues (electricity, plumbing, etc.)
Coordinate with housekeeping staff
5. Food & Mess Supervision
Monitor quality and hygiene of food served in the mess
Ensure proper meal timings and discipline in dining area
Address food-related complaints
6. Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain resident details and documentation
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
Keep track of leave, late entry, and absentee records
7. Emergency Handling
Handle medical or emergency situations effectively
Inform management immediately in case of serious issues
Qualification & Requirements:
Any Degree / Diploma
Experience as Hostel Warden / Supervisor preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to handle people and resolve conflicts
