We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the production process to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of production methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Oversee the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor production output, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Maintenance, to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
- Manage production budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and ensure optimal functioning of machinery and production lines.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, challenges, and achievements for senior management.
