Job Description:
To ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the solar substation and associated electrical systems, enabling maximum power evacuation to the grid while complying with statutory regulations, grid codes, and safety standards.
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 Years experience Solar / Renewable Energy Plants, Substation operation (11kV / 33kV / 110kV / 220kV) and SCADA based monitoring systems
Freshers also most welcome
Education:
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Substation Operations
Ensure continuous and efficient operation of substation equipment
Perform switching operations (breakers, isolators, OLTC)
Manage grid synchronization and load flow
Monitoring & Control
Monitor system parameters via SCADA
Maintain voltage, frequency, and power factor within grid limits
Analyze real-time and historical data for performance optimization
Maintenance Management
Plan and execute preventive & predictive maintenance
Coordinate breakdown maintenance and fault rectification
Ensure health of transformers, switchgear, protection systems
Safety & Compliance
Enforce electrical safety practices and LOTO procedures
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and grid codes
Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Maintain logbooks, fault reports, and maintenance records
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents
Coordination
Liaise with SLDC / grid authorities for scheduling & outages
Coordinate with internal O&M, protection, and EPC teams
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
