Schedule: 1 Day a Week (Wednesdays)
Timings: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Who Can Apply?
- Candidates with formal training, certification, diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in Guitar, Music Performance, Music Education, Performing Arts, or related disciplines.
- Professional guitarists, music educators, performers, and musicians with teaching or training experience.
- Individuals experienced in working with diverse age groups and learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Facilitation
- Conduct interactive sessions on Guitar Fundamentals, Chords & Progressions, Strumming Patterns, Fingerstyle Techniques, Rhythm & Timing, Music Theory Basics, Ear Training, and Performance Skills.
- Introduce students to concepts such as Melody, Harmony, Scales, Improvisation, Song Structure, Musical Expression, and Ensemble Playing.
- Facilitate hands-on learning through guided practice sessions, group performances, musical games, and collaborative activities.
- Train students to play a variety of musical styles including contemporary, pop, rock, folk, classical, and acoustic genres, as appropriate to their age and skill level.
- Encourage creativity through songwriting, improvisation, and musical exploration.
Event Preparation, Administrative & Collaborative Work
- Ideate, prepare, and execute a standalone Gyansthan Music Showcase, Guitar Recital, or Performance Event during the academic year.
- Organize student performances, ensemble presentations, open-mic sessions, and musical competitions.
- Submit session plans and progress reports.
- Maintain attendance and student performance records.
- Participate in meetings and curriculum enhancement discussions.
- Collaborate with fellow trainers and coordinators to create interdisciplinary arts and cultural programs.
