A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Sourcing Specialist at MSD, you will collaborate closely with Procurement, RMQ, R&D, and Supplier Quality teams to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that drive cost efficiencies and support business objectives. You will report directly to the Global Head of Sourcing.
You Will Make an Impact By:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and assess potential suppliers.

Conduct market analysis to track industry trends and uncover cost-saving opportunities.

Assess supplier performance, capabilities, and reliability through audits in partnership with Supplier Quality.

Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms in collaboration with Procurement to secure optimal value.

Work cross-functionally with Procurement, RMQ, R&D, and Quality to align sourcing initiatives with business needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of supplier data, sourcing activities, and contractual agreements.

Travel up to 50% to support supplier engagement and evaluations.
Skills you bring:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in a chemical-related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience.

Demonstrated success in identifying suppliers and achieving cost reductions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Analytical ability to interpret data, benchmark costs, and recommend sourcing strategies.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or SAP BW.

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
