An Junior Accountant in a Non-Banking Financial company (NBFC) manage financial records, manage day to day accounting activity, ensures regulatory compliance with bodies like the RBI, handles loan portfolio accounting, They oversee daily ledger operations,asset-liability reporting and taxation specific to lending operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Loan Portfolio Accounting: Record loan disbursements, track principal repayments, and compute interest accruals or receivables.
- Regulatory Compliance: File periodic returns, manage tax deductions (TDS, GST), and adhere to asset classification and provisioning norms.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank, payment gateway, and lender loan account reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit-loss statements, and management information system (MIS) reports.

Key Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce (b.com), CA Inter, or specialized finance degrees.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) or core lending software systems.
