Role summary
- Own the test strategy and quality bar across mobile, web, and APIs. Set up automation, lead regression and integration testing, and drive the test cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Key responsibilities
- Define the test strategy, plans, cases, and exit criteria mapped to user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Build and maintain automated regression suites (API + UI/E2E) integrated into CI/CD; grow coverage each sprint.
- Lead integration testing across services; coordinate SIT and UAT.
- Drive accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and internationalization testing as sprint-exit checklist items.
- Coordinate performance/load and security test cycles with the relevant specialists; own the defect log and triage.
- Mentor the QA engineer; report quality status to delivery management.
Required
- Strong test-automation experience (e.g., Playwright/Cypress/Selenium for web, Appium/Flutter integration tests for mobile, Postman/REST-assured for APIs).
- Proven ownership of test strategy and SIT/UAT for complex, multi-integration systems.
- API, integration, and regression testing depth; defect-lifecycle management.
- Experience testing accessible products.
Nice to have
- Performance/load testing (k6/JMeter), security-testing awareness, CI/CD pipelines.
- Internationalization testing experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
