Job Summary
The Design Engineer is responsible for preparing engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation for projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and company specifications. The role involves coordinating with project teams, site engineers, procurement, and clients to ensure timely and accurate execution of design work.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and design calculations using CAD software.
* Develop design concepts based on project specifications and client requirements.
* Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination and clash detection.
* Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to resolve design-related issues.
* Revise and update drawings based on site conditions and client comments.
* Prepare material take-offs and assist the procurement team with technical specifications.
* Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
* Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and design files.
* Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and efficiency.
* Assist in preparing technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation.
* Ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining design quality and accuracy.
Qualification & Requirement
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* 0-3 years of relevant experience in engineering design (experience requirements may vary based on the role).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
* Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and construction practices.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
