Job Description – Senior HR Executive (Payroll, Statutory Compliance & HR Operations)

Job Summary
The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee records, and day-to-day HR operations. The role requires ensuring timely payroll processing, adherence to labor laws and statutory regulations, maintenance of HR documentation, and effective support of overall HR functions to ensure smooth organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines, including salary calculations, overtime, incentives, deductions, and final settlements.
- Manage and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus, and other labor law obligations.
- Coordinate statutory registrations, filings, inspections, audits, and maintain compliance records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns as required by regulatory authorities.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, timesheets, and payroll-related data.
- Handle employee onboarding, documentation, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
- Prepare employment contracts, appointment letters, experience letters, and other HR-related documents.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HR audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate HR MIS reports related to manpower, payroll, attendance, attrition, and statutory compliance for management review.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, leave, and HR policies.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounts departments for payroll reconciliation and statutory payments.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Support recruitment, employee engagement activities, and other HR operational requirements as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Payroll, Statutory Compliance, and HR Operations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll processes, PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.
- Experience in handling HRMS and payroll software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR reporting.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and efficient HR operations while supporting the organization's workforce management objectives.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
