Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise software products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Product Backlog Management, User Story creation, Agile/Scrum methodologies, API integration concepts, and modern cloud technologies. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, and QA teams to define product vision, translate business requirements into technical deliverables, and ensure successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
- Create detailed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
- Work closely with engineering teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define product roadmaps and release plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to define scalable product solutions.
- Understand API integrations and participate in API design discussions using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Validate APIs using Postman and support integration testing activities.
- Work with Azure-based application teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Understand authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and secure API design.
- Support event-driven architecture initiatives and integration workflows.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams on products incorporating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Analyze data using SQL to support product decisions and validate business requirements.
- Track product progress, dependencies, risks, and delivery metrics.
- Utilize Rally and Aha! for backlog management, roadmap planning, and Agile delivery.
- Coordinate with UX, Development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure successful product releases.
- Ensure product quality through continuous feedback, stakeholder engagement, and iterative improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as a Technical Product Owner in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Azure-based enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, RAG, and LLM-enabled product capabilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products and cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
- Familiarity with modern AI-powered products and digital transformation initiatives.
