Job Summary:
The Special Educator will assess, plan, and implement individualized educational intervention programs to support children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, and other special educational needs. The educator will work closely with parents and the multidisciplinary team to enhance the child’s academic, cognitive, functional, communication, and school-readiness skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct developmental, educational, and functional assessments of children.
- Design individualized educational plans and intervention goals based on the child’s strengths and areas of need.
- Provide one-on-one and group special education sessions as per the child’s requirements.
- Work on academic readiness, reading, writing, numeracy, comprehension, and concept development.
- Develop attention, memory, cognitive, problem-solving, sequencing, and other learning-related skills.
- Work on school-readiness skills such as following instructions, sitting tolerance, task completion, classroom behavior, and independent learning.
- Use individualized, multisensory, play-based, and activity-based teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, behavior therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
- Educate and guide parents/caregivers regarding home-based educational strategies and activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, educational goals, session notes, progress, and reports.
- Monitor and review the child’s progress and modify educational goals and intervention strategies as required.
- Create and adapt worksheets, teaching aids, visual supports, learning materials, and educational activities according to the child’s developmental level.
- Participate in parent meetings, team meetings, case discussions, and progress reviews.
- Support children in developing skills required for effective participation in school and classroom settings.
- Stay updated with current practices, research, and evidence-based approaches in special education and child development.
- Follow the policies, professional standards, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a relevant field.
- RCI-recognized qualification and valid RCI registration will be preferred, where applicable.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, or other special educational needs is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong skills can also apply.
- Strong knowledge of child development, special education, learning difficulties, and individualized educational planning.
- Good understanding of academic readiness, cognitive development, and school-readiness skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
- Patience, empathy, creativity, and a child-centered approach.
- Ability to develop engaging and individualized learning activities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good documentation, observation, and report-writing skills.

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Manikonda, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
