Housekeeping Executive – Roles & Responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Supervise housekeeping supervisors and housekeeping staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and manpower deployment.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and staff briefings.
- Cleaning Operations
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned as per SOPs.
- Monitor washrooms, offices, production areas, common areas, and external premises.
- Ensure deep cleaning activities are carried out as per schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with client SOPs, SLAs, and company policies.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists and inspection reports.
- Prepare for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Training & Development
- Train new employees on housekeeping procedures.
- Conduct refresher training on:
- Cleaning methods
- Chemical handling (MSDS)
- PPE usage
- Grooming standards
- Safety procedures
- Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements.
- Material & Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels of chemicals, consumables, and cleaning equipment.
- Raise purchase requisitions as required.
- Ensure proper storage and safe handling of chemicals.
- Prevent material wastage.
- Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings.
- Address client complaints promptly.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure staff use appropriate PPE.
- Promote safe work practices.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain attendance records and leave records.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain training records, equipment logs, and audit documents.
- Record complaints and closure reports.
- Equipment Management
- Ensure all housekeeping machines are in working condition.
- Schedule preventive maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
- Performance Monitoring
- Monitor housekeeping KPIs and SLAs.
- Conduct surprise inspections.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Achieve cleanliness and hygiene targets.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
