Job Summary
A waiter/ Service is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience while maintaining hygiene and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating according to service standards.
- Present menu and explain it confidently.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages professionally.
- Monitor tables proactively and anticipate guest needs.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle basic complaints politely.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and service stations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and company SOPs.
- Follow FSSAI hygiene and food safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain proper personal grooming, uniform standards, and punctuality.
- Practice safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Adhere to restaurant policies, SOPs, and service protocols.
