Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Ensure proper unloading, inspection, identification, and storage of materials.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain proper stock arrangement using FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper labeling and coding of all inventory items.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual physical stock verification.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, reorder, and safety stock levels.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock reconciliation statements.
Documentation
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Gate Entry Register, Material Issue Register, Stock Register, and Bin Cards.
- Maintain inward and outward documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports related to stock movement and inventory status.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement for timely receipt of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, and Administration departments for material requirements.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders and material shortages.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company SOPs and inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling materials.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper storage of hazardous, chemical, lubricant, and consumable materials.
Cost Control
- Prevent inventory losses and pilferage.
- Optimize inventory carrying costs.
- Monitor material consumption and report abnormal usage.
- Assist in inventory optimization initiatives.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in the following industries will be preferred:
- Compressed Biogas (CBG) Plants
- Biogas Plants

- Fertilizer Manufacturing

Experience in handling:
- Mechanical spare parts
- Electrical items
- Instrumentation spares
- Consumables
- Lubricants
- Safety equipment (PPE)
- Pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, motors, pipes, fittings, and fabrication materials will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Science, or Business Administration OR
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- Certification in Inventory or Store Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in Store & Inventory Management.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in a CBG/Biogas plant will be highly preferred.
