Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT), a leading non-profit organisation based in Bengaluru, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Centre Manager cum Psychologist to lead its flagship dementia care facility, Nightingales Centre for Ageing & Alzheimer’s (NCAA).
Position: Psychologist -Active Ageing
Place : Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Psychology
Responsibilities :
Active Ageing :
- Conducting Taster sessions online and offline to increase memberships in the Active ageing program.
- Cognitive assessment of all new clients as per the protocol.
- Conducting cognitive sessions for clients.
- Conducting non-gym based physical activities.
- Develop new cognitive activities & programs.
- Maintaining records of the assessment.
- To help in the implementation of any new initiatives taken up from time to time at the project
- Conducting cognitive sessions (group based activities, games etc) for Active Ageing member from time to time.
- Conducting separate cognitive sessions in Kannada for members who have difficulty in understanding English.
- Conducting physical activities
- Coordinating and interacting with the members during the programmes.
- To handle monthly payment, billing and share receipts for Active Ageing Programs
- Conduct awareness programs for promoting Active Ageing
- To involve volunteers in the Active Ageing Programs
MANAGEMENT OF DAY CARE, GROOMING & OTHER ALLIED SERVICES:
· Conducting physical and cognitive sessions for day care members as and when required.
· Assist in activities of day care
· Conduct offline activities or meeting as and when planned.
OFFICE AND DOCUMENTATION
· Documentation of assessment and reports
· Translation and typing work as and when required.
· Answering enquiries from Families and Members.
· Feeding of all data in the software pertaining to Active ageing.
- Ensure Feedback is received from all beneficiaries periodically
- To update, maintain and to the SOPs for Active Ageing
REPORTING
· To send daily reports as per the prescribed format to the immediate superior.
