Job Summary
IVR Energy is looking for an experienced, result-oriented Sales Executive to promote residential rooftop solar solutions. The candidate will identify prospective customers, explain suitable solar solutions and convert enquiries into confirmed projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads for residential rooftop solar projects.
- Contact potential customers through calls, referrals, field visits and marketing campaigns.
- Understand customers’ electricity requirements and recommend suitable solar systems.
- Explain system costs, electricity savings, return on investment and applicable government subsidies.
- Conduct customer meetings and coordinate rooftop site surveys.
- Prepare quotations and present solar proposals.
- Regularly follow up with leads and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate with technical, installation and documentation teams.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups and sales performance.
- Build relationships with homeowners, builders, architects and referral partners.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Support customers throughout the sales and installation process.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in field sales or direct customer sales.
- Experience in solar, electrical products, construction or real estate sales is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to conduct field visits and meet prospective customers.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with sales targets.
- Basic understanding of residential rooftop solar systems is an advantage.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are preferred.
Education
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates with an electrical, electronics, mechanical, business or marketing background will be preferred.
