Designer – PEB Job Description
Role Overview
A PEB Designer / Design Engineer Is Responsible For End-To-End Structural Design And Optimization Of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings Such As Warehouses, Factories, And Industrial Sheds. At 7+ Years, You’re Expected To Lead Projects And Guide Junior Designers, Not Just Execute Drawings.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Perform Structural Analysis & Design Of PEB Systems (Frames, Rafters, Purlins, Bracings)
- Calculate Loads: Wind, Seismic, Dead, Live Loads
- Prepare GA Drawings, Shop Drawings, And Fabrication Details
- Review And Optimize Designs For Cost Efficiency And Safety
- Ensure Compliance With IS Codes And International Standards
- Coordinate With:
- Architects
- Fabrication & Erection Teams
- Clients / Consultants
- Provide Technical Support During Erection & Site Execution
- Lead Design Reviews And Approvals For Projects
- Mentor Junior Engineers/Designers
Tools & Software:-
- STAAD Pro / ETABS (Analysis)
- Tekla Structures / MBS (PEB Detailing)
- Autocad (Drafting)
- Excel / BIM Tools
Qualification:-
- (Preferred) M.Tech Or Specialization In Structural Engineering
Experience Expectations (7+ Years):-
At This Level, Companies Expect:
- Independent Handling Of Complete PEB Design Projects
- Strong Expertise In Steel Structures & Detailing
- Ability To Optimize Tonnage And Cost
- Exposure To Industrial / Warehouse / Data Center Projects

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
