We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Telecaller cum Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling student enquiries, counselling prospective students about our courses, following up with leads, and converting enquiries into admissions. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students.
- Explain course details, career opportunities, fees, and batch schedules.
- Counsel students and parents to help them choose the right course.
- Follow up with leads generated through phone calls, website, social media, and walk-ins.
- Schedule counselling sessions and campus visits.
- Convert enquiries into admissions by maintaining regular follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and student interactions in CRM or Excel.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
- Assist students throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with trainers and the administration team for batch planning.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong convincing, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Good follow-up and negotiation abilities.
- Positive attitude with a target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in telecalling, customer service, counselling, sales, or educational institutions is an added advantage.
