About the Role
Life Care Multispeciality Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician with a minimum of 3–4 years of post-master's experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in managing obstetric and gynecological cases independently and have training and experience in laparoscopic gynecological procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient (OPD) consultations for gynecological and obstetric patients.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions and reproductive health concerns.
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Perform normal deliveries, assisted deliveries, and Caesarean sections.
- Conduct gynecological surgeries and procedures as per clinical requirements.
- Perform and assist in laparoscopic gynecological surgeries.
- Manage inpatient admissions and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties as scheduled.
Quality & Patient Care
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, hospital policies, and ethical medical practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Provide patient counseling regarding treatment options, preventive healthcare, and family planning.
- Promote patient safety and quality standards in all aspects of care.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with consultants, resident doctors, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior medical staff when required.
Required Qualifications
- MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council.
- Minimum 3–4 years of post-MS/DNB experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Training and hands-on experience in Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery.
