WAWU Foundation is a sports-focused NGO working to empower youth and communities through football development programs, sports events, and social impact initiatives.
We are looking for an organized and proactive Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of football events, tournaments, workshops, and community engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage football tournaments, sports events, and community programs
- Assist in planning event schedules, logistics, and venue arrangements
- Coordinate with vendors, volunteers, participants, and internal teams
- Ensure smooth event operations before, during, and after events
- Support event promotion and communication activities
- Maintain event records, attendance, and post-event reports
- Communicate professionally with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders
- Monitor timelines and support budget coordination
- Assist with on-ground event management and crowd coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in event coordination or related roles preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Interest in football, sports, or community engagement activities
- Willingness to travel for events when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating sports or NGO-related events
- Basic understanding of social media and event promotion
- Volunteer coordination or team-handling experience
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
