The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time, on-site role, focused on improving Skillversity’s online visibility and organic traffic. This role involves conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, and optimizing website content and structure for search engines. The specialist will manage on-page SEO elements, monitor web analytics, and track performance metrics to refine strategies and report on outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing link-building campaigns, collaborating with content and marketing teams, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices. The role also requires identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and conversion rates through data-driven recommendations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to identify opportunities and optimize site content and structure.
2. Candidates should possess experience in conducting comprehensive SEO Audits to diagnose technical and content-related issues affecting search performance.
3. Candidates should possess skills in Link Building to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that enhance domain authority and rankings.
4. Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to monitor traffic, measure performance, and generate actionable insights.
5. Relevant skills such as familiarity with HTML/CSS basics, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) are beneficial.
6. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret data and present clear recommendations are required.
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with marketing, content, and academic teams are essential.
8. A bachelor’s degree in Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in SEO, is preferred.

Graduation in any discipline
3 years of experience candidates are preferred
