Job Summary
We are looking for a CAD Marker to join our Garment Manufacturing – Woven team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and efficient garment markers using CAD software while ensuring optimum fabric utilization and adherence to production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CAD markers for woven garment styles as per approved patterns and production requirements.
- Ensure accurate placement of pattern pieces according to garment specifications.
- Optimize marker efficiency to achieve maximum fabric utilization and minimum fabric wastage.
- Check pattern pieces, sizes, quantities, and marker requirements before finalizing markers.
- Coordinate with the Pattern, Sampling, Production Planning, and Cutting teams for marker-related requirements.
- Ensure markers are prepared according to fabric width, grain line, nap direction, and other fabric restrictions.
- Make necessary adjustments to markers based on style, size ratio, fabric width, and production requirements.
- Maintain proper records of markers and related CAD files.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of markers as per production schedules.
- Follow company quality standards and procedures related to CAD and cutting.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of CAD Marker Making in the garment industry.
- Knowledge of pattern placement, fabric utilization, marker efficiency, and fabric width.
- Basic understanding of woven garment construction and cutting processes.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work according to production deadlines.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Eligibility
- Freshers with CAD knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience in garment CAD/marker making can apply.
- Candidates from the Woven Garment Manufacturing segment will be preferred.
- Knowledge of garment CAD software such as Optitex / Lectra / Gerber will be an added advantage.
