Job description:
Role: Technical Product Manager – Marketplace Platform
Experience: 5–10 years (with relevant experience in marketplace / aggregator products)
Location: Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end delivery of a marketplace/ad platform built on .NET + Angular
- Manage cross-functional teams:
- Oversee development of:
- Listing & catalog management systems
- Search, filtering & ranking modules
- Lead generation and user matching workflows
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the platform
- Define architecture-level decisions with engineering teams
- Drive Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, releases
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across teams
- Monitor system KPIs (latency, uptime, API performance, UI responsiveness)
- Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Manage and scale a two-sided marketplace (customers and service providers)
- Handle vendor onboarding, lead generation, and conversion optimization
- Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams
- Analyze product performance metrics and drive improvementsRequired Skills:
- Strong experience in marketplace / classified platforms
- Good understanding of user acquisition, retention, and funnel optimization
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Ability to write PRDs, user stories, and manage product lifecycle
Preferred Background:
- Backend (.NET Core)
- Frontend (Angular)
- Full-stack developers
- QA, DevOps, and Data teams
- Translate product requirements into technical execution plans
- Experience in platforms similar to Sulekha, Justdial, or Urban Company
- Exposure to lead-based or subscription-based business models
