Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sensor/RF Engineer with strong expertise in electromagnetic sensing, analog electronics, and experimental prototyping.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electromagnetic and inductive sensing systems.
Design and optimize sensor coils.
Work with different frequencies and signal-generation techniques.
Perform impedance, inductance, phase, amplitude, and conductivity measurements.
Design analog front-end and signal-conditioning circuits.
Work with ADCs, microcontrollers, and embedded electronics.
Conduct electromagnetic simulations and experimental testing.
Optimize signal-to-noise ratio and measurement stability.
Investigate effects of frequency, distance, temperature, geometry, and material properties.
Build laboratory prototypes and test fixtures.
Analyze experimental data using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
Develop repeatable calibration and measurement procedures.
Work with PCB designers and embedded engineers to convert prototypes into compact electronics.
Document experiments, results, designs, and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, RF Engineering, Instrumentation, Applied Physics, or related field.
Strong knowledge of electromagnetics and AC circuit theory.
Experience with inductive/eddy-current or similar sensors.
Strong analog electronics knowledge.
Experience with oscilloscopes, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, or equivalent laboratory equipment.
PCB prototyping experience.
Strong experimental and troubleshooting skills.
