The MMU Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mobile Medical Unit, ensuring efficient delivery of healthcare services, proper staff coordination, compliance with organizational policies, and maintenance of records and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities of the Mobile Medical Unit team.
- Ensure timely deployment of the MMU according to the approved schedule.
- Monitor patient registration, consultation, treatment, and referral processes.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, drivers, and community health workers.
- Maintain records of patient visits, medicines dispensed, and outreach activities.
- Ensure availability of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, safety protocols, and project guidelines.
- Liaise with local authorities, healthcare facilities, and community representatives.
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Hospital Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in healthcare operations, community health programs, or mobile healthcare services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems.
