Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Labour Resource & Mobilization Officer to ensure timely availability and deployment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower across construction projects. The role involves labour sourcing, contractor management, workforce planning, site coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted manpower availability to support project execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely mobilization of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labour as per project requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of labour contractors and manpower agencies across India.
- Plan manpower requirements, maintain a labour resource database, and optimize workforce deployment across projects.
- Identify, onboard, and manage labour contractors while ensuring smooth onboarding, labour camp arrangements, safety induction, and Workfront readiness.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Project Heads, contractors, and subcontractors to align manpower with project schedules.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor labour deployment, resolve manpower-related issues, and maintain strong contractor relationships.
- Monitor labour deployment, contractor performance, attendance, and manpower movement while preparing periodic MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
- Identify new labour sourcing regions and recommend improvements for efficient manpower mobilization.
- Support timely project completion by ensuring adequate manpower availability while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in labour mobilization, manpower planning, or contractor management within the Construction, Infrastructure, or EPC industry.
- Proven experience in sourcing and mobilizing skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labour from various regions across India.
- Strong network of labour contractors and manpower agencies.
- Knowledge of construction site operations, labour laws, and contractor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, word, & Powerpoint).
- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
