Job Description – IT Executive (Hardware & Server)
Experience - 2 to 3 Years
Salary Range CTC up to ₹25,000/- per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Executive – Hardware & Server to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, servers, security systems, and software applications. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience in system administration and technical support.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot email, internet, VPN, and application-related issues.
System & Network Administration
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall systems, and surveillance systems.
- Monitor server performance, backups, and storage systems.
- Ensure antivirus, security patches, and system updates are deployed regularly.
Software & Application Management
- Install, update, and maintain licensed software and applications.
- Support ERP/CRM and other business applications.
- Coordinate with vendors for software and hardware support.
IT Security & Data Protection
- Ensure data security, backup management, and disaster recovery procedures are implemented.
- Monitor and control user access rights and permissions.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and best practices.
Asset & Documentation Management
- Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware, software, and licenses).
- Prepare and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and support tickets.
- Assist in IT audits and compliance activities.
User Training & Support
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT tools and security practices.
- Support digital initiatives and process automation projects.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Google Workspace.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related roles.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA, or ITIL will be an added advantage.
